Acts

•   Acts 1:3 “He presented himself alive to them after his suffering by many proofs, appearing to them during forty days”

•   Acts 1:7 He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority.”

•   Acts 1:8 “you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

•   Acts 2:21 "And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’"

•   Acts 2:38 Repent & be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins

•   Acts 2:40 with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.”

•   Acts 2:42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

•   Acts 3:6 Peter said, “I have no silver &gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!”

•   Acts 3:14–15 you denied the Holy and Righteous One…and you killed the Author of life, whom God raised from the dead.

•   Acts 3:19 Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out

•   Acts 3:26 “God, having raised up his servant…to bless you by turning every one of you from your wickedness.”

•   Acts 4:4 But many of those who had heard the word believed, and the number of the men came to about five thousand.

•   Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

•   Acts 4:13 when they saw the boldness of Peter &John…uneducated, common men, they were astonished…they recognized that they had been w/Jesus

•   Acts 4:20 “we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.”

•   Acts 4:29 “And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness”

•   Acts 4:31 when they had prayed … they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.

•   Acts 4:32 Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul…but they had everything in common.

•   Acts 4:33 with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all

•   Acts 5:3 Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit & to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds?”

•   Acts 5:12 Now many signs and wonders were regularly done among the people by the hands of the apostles.

•   Acts 5:15 they even carried out the sick into the streets…that as Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on some of them

•   Acts 5:19–20 "an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors .. “Go &stand in the temple &speak to the people all the words of this Life.”

•   Acts 5:27-29 high priest…saying, “We strictly charged you not to teach”…Peter &the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.”

•   Acts 5:42 And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus.

•   Acts 6:4 “But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

•   Acts 6:5 "Stephen, a man full of faith &of the Holy Spirit”

•   Acts 6:10, 15 they could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he was speaking...his face was like the face of an angel.

•   Acts 7:48 Yet the Most High does not dwell in houses made by hands

•   Acts 7:51  “You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, so do you.”

•   Acts 7:55 But he, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.

•   Acts 7:59-60 [Stephen called out] “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.…Lord, do not hold this sin against them.”

•   Acts 8:2–3 Devout men buried Stephen and made great lamentation over him. But Saul was ravaging the church

•   Acts 8:35-56 the told him the good news about Jesus...& the eunuch said, "See, here is water! What prevents me from being baptized?”

•   Acts 9:4 And falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”

•   Acts 9:15 “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel.”

•   Acts 9:22 Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who lived in Damascus by proving that Jesus was the Christ.

•   Acts 9:34 Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you; rise and make your bed.” And immediately he rose.

•   Acts 9:40 Peter…turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.

•   Acts 10:28 “God has shown me that I should not call any person common or unclean.”

•   Acts 10:30-31 a man…in bright clothing…said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your alms have been remembered before God.’

•   Acts 10:38 “Jesus of Nazareth…went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.”

•   Acts 10:43 “To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”

•   Acts 11:18 "And they glorified God, saying, 'Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads to life.’”

•   Acts 11:21 And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number who believed turned to the Lord.

•   Acts 11:26 For a whole year they met with the church & taught a great many people. And in Antioch the disciples were first called Christians

•   Acts 12:1 About that time Herod the king laid violent hands on some who belonged to the church.

•   Acts 12:7 behold, an angel of the Lord stood next to him, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter…and the chains fell off his hands

•   Acts12:10 When they had passed the 1st&the 2nd guard, they came to the iron gate leading into the city. It opened for them of its own accord

•   Acts 12:23 an angel of the Lord struck him down, because he did not give God the glory, & he was eaten by worms & breathed his last.

•   Acts 13:2 While they were worshiping the Lord & fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas & Saul

•   Acts 13:9–10 Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him and said, “You son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness”

•   Acts 13:11 “And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you will be blind and unable to see the sun for a time.”

•   Acts 13:38–39 "through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, & by him everyone who believes is freed”

•   Acts 13:48 they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.

•   Acts 13:52 “And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.”

•   Acts 14:17 he did not leave himself without witness, for he did good by giving you rains from heaven & fruitful seasons

•   Acts 14:22 encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.

•   Acts 15:8–9 God, who knows the heart, bore witness to them, by giving them the Holy Spirit...having cleansed their hearts by faith.

•   Acts 15:39-4 there arose a sharp disagreement, so that they separated from each other. Barnabas took Mark…Paul chose Silas and departed

•   Acts 16:18 Paul, having become greatly annoyed, turned & said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.”

•   Acts 16:25 "About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them…”

•   Acts 16:30–31 “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” [31] And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved”

•   Acts 17:5 "they formed a mob, set the city in an uproar, and attacked the house of Jason, seeking to bring them out to the crowd."

•   Acts 17:11 [at Berea] "they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so."

•   Acts 17:21 Now all the Athenians …would spend their time in nothing except telling or hearing something new

•   Acts 18:6 when they opposed & reviled him, he shook out his garments and said to them, "Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent.”

•   Acts 18:9-10 the Lord said to Paul one night in a vision, “Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent, for I am with you”

•   Acts 18:26 when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.

•   Acts 18:27–28 he greatly helped…for he powerfully refuted the Jews in public, showing by the Scriptures that the Christ was Jesus.

•   Acts 19:5–6they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them

•   Acts 19:9 when some became stubborn and continued in unbelief, speaking evil of the Way before the congregation, he withdrew from them

•   Acts 19:15-16 the evil spirit answered… ‘Jesus I know, &Paul I recognize, but who are you?’…the man in whom was the evil spirit leaped on them

•   Acts19:17-18 the name of the Lord Jesus was extolled. Also many of those who were now believers came, confessing &divulging their practices

•   Acts 19:19 “a number of those who had practiced magic arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all”

•   Acts 19:20 “So the word of the Lord continued to increase and prevail mightily.”

•   Acts 20:9–12 Eutychus…fell down from the third story &was taken up dead. But Paul went down &bent over him… &they took the youth away alive

•   Acts 20:21 testifying both to Jews and to Greeks of repentance toward God and of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

•   Acts 20:27-28 I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God. Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock

•   Acts 20:31 Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish every one with tears.

•   Acts 20:35 “by working hard…and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

•   Acts 20:36–37 he knelt down and prayed with them all. And there was much weeping on the part of all; they embraced Paul and kissed him

•   Acts 21:13–14 "I am ready not only to be imprisoned but even to die...for the name of the Lord Jesus”...“Let the will of the Lord be done.”

•   Acts 22:14–15 "The God of our fathers appointed you to know his will...for you will be a witness for him to everyone"

•   Acts 22:16 And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.’

•   Acts 23:1 “I have lived my life before God in all good conscience up to this day.”

•   Acts 23:11 "the Lord stood by him & said, 'Take courage, for as you have testified to the facts about me..’"

•   Acts24:15–16 there will be a resurrection of both the just&the unjust. So I always take pains to have a clear conscience toward both God&man

•   Acts 25:7, 10 “bringing many and serious charges against him that they could not prove….But Paul said… ‘I have done no wrong’”

•   Acts 26:18 "so that they may turn from darkness to light & from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins"

•   Acts26:28-29 Agrippa said to Paul, “In a short time would you persuade me to be a Christian?”&Paul said “…not only you but also all who hear

•   Acts 27:11 “the centurion paid more attention to the pilot & to the owner of the ship than to what Paul said.”

•   Acts 28:30-31 He…welcomed all…proclaiming the kingdom of God &teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness &without hindrance.
